__________________________________________  See our facebook Happy Tail Album to see some smiling faces! __________________________________ ***SKYE~Adoption Pending*** Skye is a sweet and lovable 4 yr old Taiwanese Siberian Husky who is waiting to find her forever home. She is from a government pound in a hot and humid area where dogs with dense coats do not fair well. Skye was a street dog who obviously forgot what love from humans feels like; when she first arrived she was wary of being touched and reacted loudly, but, without any bite to her bark. After only a week in foster care and some work, Skye is quickly realizing that belly rubs and massage are worth it and that humans can make great friends. Skye's foster mum reports that Skye loves her new human pack, sticks close and is always ready to give kisses or be cuddled. Skye is working on her dog introduction skills and needs further training to walk nicely on leash. Skye is learning all the basics that come with living in Canada. Skye is microchipped, spayed, fully health checked and UTD on shots!

______________________________ ***LUCY*** Lucy is a 1.5yr old sable colored Siberian. A sweet girl who loves her morning cuddles with her people. This girl is an owner surrender, a sibe who has found herself in a situation which many young sibes find themselves in; they have not found someone who is breed savvy and ready to take on a young and headstrong girl. People are often drawn to the beauty and look of a husky and forget these dogs require patience and leadership. Lucy will need a home where she is shown guidance and given the training she needs. Lucy will do best in a dedicated, active, Siberian experienced home where she has adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Lucy does suffer from separation anxiety which with work and time can be overcome. Lucy gets along with other dogs and is very playful girl, she does need work on greeting smaller dogs and will not be placed in a home with cats or small animals due to her high prey drive. Lucy knows basic commands and she will need further training to become an example for her breed. Lucy pulls on leash and is a strong girl, so needs someone able to work with her. Lucy would love a home where she has a canine companion to keep her company and to play! Lucy is spayed and UTD on shots, she is approximately 60lbs.

________________________________ *****COURTESY POST -- Syris***** Syris is a 3 yr old Rotti/ Lab X. He is looking for a new home due to aggression with small dogs. Syris has been deemed a dangerous dog in the city of Victoria which means that he must abide by certain rules; his owner must follow guidelines to prevent further harm coming to any other animals; please see link for additional info; http://www.crd.bc.ca/animal/dangerous.htm This boy is a love bug, once he gets to know you but a bit skitish with people initially. Syris' current owner is unable to keep him as she lives in the city with small dogs as neighbors and Syris is no longer getting along with the family cat. Like many big boys who get into trouble, Syris was in his own yard but when a small dog came into it, he bit the small dog causing damage to the dog's hind leg. Syris will need a dog savvy owner who is committed to rehabbing this guy and working with his dog/ dog issues. Syris would greatly benefit from an obedience class to help with his interaction skills and further training to assure he can be a safe dog. Syris is up to date on shots and neutered, he is a healthy boy who just needs someone to work with his behavior. Syris will not be placed in a home with other animals.
